I go into panic mode searching for foundation. I use pressed powder. As an African American I use foundation to correctly match. In other words I need someone’s directions who is better at apply makeup. And I go to beauty supply stores.

Right now, I use Kiss Colors foundation.

I would try MAC cosmetics, they have amazing makeup.

I have the TruBlend from Covergirl and it isnt very good. It wears off after like an hour and it doesnt cover well. Is there a good type of foundation makeup that lasts longer and covers well? Preferably something I could get at Wal-Mart or Target.

well the best is either dior or bobbi brown…but a drugstore brand i like for foundation is l’oreal true match. it feels really natural, but works well, and lasts long.

Just use any normal foundation, but put a base prodct on before, and then use powder afterwards and to top it up in the day, then it will stay on and not look so greasy.

I don’t have severe acne or anything, my face isn’t too oily or too dry, but it seems like I always have some acne and I do wear makeup a lot. I want to find a good foundation that wont cause acne, but gives good coverage because my face isn’t even toned and i have blemishes etc.

it sounds like you have pretty average skin. but most of the time certain makeups that are good for one persons type of skin is not good for anothers.
you should try a few different makeups… but the best kind is usually mineral powder makeups. if you want the best, buy some Bare Minerals. it’s expensive but very good. also you can look at Beauty Control makeup.. it’s a very good company and sells almost the same stuff as Bare Minerals for a little cheaper.

What is a real good brand? Right now I use Mac but I’ve noticed that it kinda drags on my skin and pools in areas which isn’t good. Also my skin seems to flake alot with that makeup but isn’t flaky without it. It also intensifies wrinkles. So do any of you know of a better foundation that won’t make my few crows feet jump out? Thanks
